Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus: This song is a classic. I read Randy Alcorn's thoughts on the hymn, and he mentioned how it's more biblical to turn our eyes upon Jesus to see to both more clearly see the beautiful things God has left for us to enjoy in this world, while at the same time looking to him for the glories to come. I have to agree with his thoughts. Nonetheless, we can only enjoy things at the utmost capacity if we enjoy the Lord by looking at him with the look of Faith. Remember the brass serpent in Numbers 21:1-9? It's the Look of Faith that saves! (See John 3:13-16)

When we look upon Jesus how can we not sing an Ode to Joy?
